Is it worth all this packing?????

Our first night up here.

Totally rocked. 

 Looks like we have issues.

Esp. Rex, when he's impersonating S.C. guy who claims he saw Sasquatch. 

{And he did.}

 I get to celebrate my birthday with my whole family up camping every year.

 (except last year. I was delivering sweet babes Korver) so, minor setback there....

 ...but Rexy REALLY made up this year,for that missed celebration.....

it deserves a seperate post, to come later

cause ya know...

I'm like way behind

 in blogging.

hence all the rewind posts.....

Anyways....back to celebrating.  

My mom always has tried to make sure my birthday was never forgotten or pushed over because of camping...and now, I really love that I get to spend it in the mountains, away from everything and being surrounded by my family.

We had a yummy steak dinner that night, and some delish cake. 

My mom is fantastic.

Just wanted that noted. :)

~ Korver LOVED playing in this box.

 ~ And I loved that he did.

~ Kept him clean!

Oh how his Aunts LOVE the heck outta him. 

Who wouldn't?

He kinda melts their hearts. :) 

Cam could lay in dirt and drive tractors ALL.DAY.LONG if I would let him........

Well, he'd do that till he heard this start up....

Then he wants the REAL toys....

We all do. :)

Once the kiddos were tucked away.

Rex and I snuck away.

On our own 4 wheeler ride.

I love times like this.

{We saw this GORGEOUS sunset}

and

{then headed deeper in the mountains}

and

{we saw the moon so much closer than I've ever seen}

Incredible.

Sleeping on the top bunk is a FAVORITE!!  

    Meet Freddy.

   Gross.

    I hate these.

    Cam LOVES them.

     I love Cameron. 

Its a love-hate relationship.

Cam is waiting for Freddy to eat his breakfast. (the stick) 

{I'm thinking Freddy wants some of that hot chocolate left behind on Cameron's face.}

Who wouldn't love camping, when they get to see this happy lil boy every morning?

Oh wait, we see it even if we aren't camping. :)

Still......makes camping that much more pleasant....right?
